Rio Tinto Applauds Thiefs Innovation in Driverless Technology After Discovering Fleet Hilux Ghostied Into Bush

“This is on the cutting edge.”

Local mining powerhouse Rio Tinto are analyzing the works of a local thief, after it was discovered the anonymous criminal had utilized cutting edge practices when disposing of one of their fleet vehicles.

What had initially appeared to be a careless joyride was discovered to be in reality a prime example of driverless technology, with the driver exiting the vehicle long before it came to a stop in its desired location.

Rio had their brightest minds in the field flown in to study the trajectory of the vehicle and examine the finer details and were blown away by the data.

“What we’re witnessing here is a refreshing departure from the strict guidelines that often dictate traditional driverless software.”

“If we can somehow harness the ingenuity used here, the savings could be in the billions.”

Rio called on anyone who could contribute information that led to being able to speak with the initial driver of the vehicle, Pilbara Police echoed these calls.
