“Shhhh. Don’t tell another soul.”
Another victim has been claimed by the Dunning-Kruger effect today as local fisho Kraig Bollington finally revealed his “super secret” fishing spot, only to begin describing Cleaverville to his friends.
A beloved land-based fishing spot known to most of the local population, Cleaverville is an average area to wet a line and do a spot of harmless fishing for a Queenie or two.
When speaking to our reporter, Kraig’s friends were in disbelief.
“He has been going on about this secret honey hole for months. I thought he had found the mother of all Bluebone nests or something. To learn that it’s just Cleaverville is flabbergasting. Everyone knows Cleaverville. It’s not even that good of a spot. I’m pretty sure we even took him there last year.”
Upon hearing critical feedback of his prized fishing hole, Kraig simply kept his gaze forward and continued to practice tying FG knots.
