“I’m not sure we can haul that much pork belly!”
Widely known for her altruistic efforts, Gina Rinehart has once again shown us all why she is such a generous Australia’s Richest Woman, after announcing she will donate the lions share of leftovers from her latest Gala dinner to a program that distributes it amongst those who need it.
Given the current housing crisis and constant rise in cost of living, “those who need it” appears to be everyone in Australia who does not own a mining company or is not a politician with 15 investment properties. Thus, OzHarvest calculated that with the amount of Seared Tuna and truffled Foie Gras they were able to salvage from the event, they will have capacity to feed the entire Australian population for roughly 20 years.
Our reporters asked for comment from the haul truck drivers as they loaded up their vehicles with trays of Wagyu.
“We have been absolutely blown away by this level of generosity, it is amazing to see. Though, some of our volunteers mentioned that Gina refused to handover the 1kg bain-marie of Tiramisu and began hissing as they approached.”
When asked how she continues to be so generous, Gina responded:
“It’s the least I can do after you all allowed my profits to increase at a rate of $1.5m an hour to $40.6 billion total in a three year period from 2020-2023. It is buoying to know that during periods of uncertainty for the nations economy and its people, that you spare a thought for us little guys, the mining magnates.”
