ight.

Member for the Pilbara Kevin Michel is fuming this week after his international round trip tickets he booked for a full Safari holiday might be in jeopardy.

First elected in 2017, Michel’s hopes for a third term in power are up in the air as the Libs have managed a 15% swing, leading to the announcement of the results being pushed back to next week, severely hindering his hopes of a lavish getaway.

“How hard is it to count votes?” he shouted, whilst dumping a box-set of Wild Thornberry’s into his assistant’s arms.

“Am I cancelling my fucking tickets and putting the suit back on or am I going to look at some fucken Giraffes!?”

“We’re not all billionaire fish magnate heiresses, these tickets cost me an arm and a leg!”

Adding insult to injury, Mr Michel’s assistant brought in the day’s postal deliveries, which included his Amazon orders for binoculars, full khaki outfit and French pith helmet.

Mr Michel lamented to the Bugle about the situation.

“Curse this likeable face and charming demeanor!” he barked at himself in the mirror.

“I long for the days of a worthy opponent to stand up,” he reached for a framed photo of Brendan Grylls from his office bookshelf.

“Now it’s just bored, rich housewives.”

As our reporter left the Member for the Pilbara’s office, he was watching Youtube Video’s on ‘how to see lions on safari’ and was on hold with Jetstar about pushing his flights back to when people are no longer paying attention to their elected member.
