ight.

Local HD Mechanic Kade Willem, 36, acted in solidarity with our eastern cousins over the weekend when he pounded an entire box of bush chooks solo, much to the chagrin of his wife Elise.

Isolated instances of upper tier binge drinking are usually reserved for things like actual cyclones, getting sacked or being cuckholded. However, Kade made the selfless decision to drink a near toxic level of brewed barley as a symbol of hope and perseverance for the Queenslanders braving Tropical Cyclone Alfred.

“Why should they get to have all the fun over there,” He burped via a Teams call on Saturday night with our reporter.

“They, friggen, its a bigun this storm, you gotta batten down the hatches and put your feet up eh?” He slurred as his wife hurled inaudible insults at him from the other room.

Kade’s generosity and act of goodwill has not gone unnoticed, with locals across the city of Karratha coming together to get paralytic for the cause. Mark Grunpitson, 55, was one such local who spoke with our reporter.

“Getting absolutely shitfaced during a cyclone is mandatory,” he said.

“Ol Kadies a good boy for making a few cans disappear in solidarity.”

“Though I did hear that he played Centurion 4 times in a row through the night, so it may be worth someone popping over and checking his pulse.”
