NBN guy will be there between 7am-Christmas

A young mum in Baynton is reportedly pulling her hair out today as she contends with the typical habitual non-attendance of a scheduled contractor.

NBN Co. texted Amy Fuller, 37, to let her know they’d be out to service her property this morning.

“Hello Amy, we will be at your property at 7am today or also maybe at 2pm,” the confusing text read.

“Due to ongoing jobs we also may not be there until tomorrow or next week, in which case we will send you another text at the appropriate time.”

“If staffing, materials or workloads dictate, the job may also be suspended until December, but we might also be there in 30 minutes – depends.”

With three feral kids to tend, a metric tonne of washing to get through and a list as long as your arm of menial bullshit to do before the sun sets, Amy told the Bugle she did not have time for this shit.

“Are they coming or not,” she shrugged, looking at the texts.

“Can I put a washing load on or is some fat oaf gonna walz in here any minute and switch the power off for 4 hours? Fuck me dead.”

In response to the growing trend of flighty, inconsistent contractors, NBN Co Spokesperson Nat Wire sent a statement via text to the Bugle

“Hello, we are looking into your claim and should have a response by COB today or at the very least by Christmas,”

“We take our clients concerns very seriously and as such, will look to have some answers back in a timely manner or in a few weeks/months.”

It is estimated that by the time NBN finally come out to Amy’s property, the technology they install will be outdated by at least five years.
