“The Min Min lights are real!” says truckie who’s been driving for 16 hours straight

A man who consumed nothing but NoDoz and Masters Iced Coffees for the last 72 hours has confirmed that the Min Min lights are indeed real.

An Australian outback phenomenon, the Min Min lights are mysterious, hovering, disc-shaped orbs that appear to follow travelers before abruptly vanishing into the dark.

Claims of the lights existence in the Pilbara predate European arrival, with indigenous oral histories from the Ngarluma people and surrounding language groups referencing floating light phenomena for over thousands of years.

Truck driver Peter Newcombe told the Bugle that the blurry pictures he took on his iPhone 6 are concrete evidence for the existence of the lights.

“Here, look. Look!” He yelled at our reporter while shoving his phone with a cracked screen in their face.

“What more do you want? That’s fuckin’ proof”

Mr Newcombe’s agitation and desperation to have his claims validated come on the back of a 2 day slog driving a road train from Perth to Broome.

An old school truckie, he doesn’t subscribe to any of the “new age bullshit” rules around mandatory breaks, resulting in a 24 hour period of driving where the only time he pulled over was at 3am to capture the Min Min lights on camera.

After cooling off from his tirade, Mr Newcombe’s bloodshot eyes became fixed on the photo, and he stood completely still out the front of the Pardoo Roadhouse for roughly 90 minutes studying it.

“Mother of Christ,” he was heard muttering in disbelief under his breath while furrowing his brow and pinch zooming in on the blurry lights.

“I’ve gotta get this to Canberra – Pauline’s gonna blow the lid on this whole thing.”
