Wife Donates Mongrel Husband To SAFE

Get every story from around the North West, straight to your inbox

Local Wickham mother of two Angie Mills, 46, drove to SAFE over the weekend in an effort to offload her pig of a husband Terry, 47, whose boorish antics have finally pushed her over the edge.

Walking into the local headquarters where the organisation works tirelessly to rehome abandoned pets and save them from extermination, the woman behind the counter started to furrow her brow as Angie described her predicament.

“I just can’t handle him anymore.” She said, visibly exhausted.

“I thought I had capacity to look after him, but I didn’t quite realise what I was getting myself into. All the cleaning and grooming involved, it’s just too much.”

“I don’t foresee another family picking him up, which is sad, but I just can’t handle seeing another pair of unwashed underwear with skid marks hanging off the ballast of our bed frame. He’s your problem now.”

Our roving reporter managed to track down Terry for comment, who was posted on a bar stool at the Dampier Mermaid at 2pm on a Wedesday.

“Yeah look,” He said, wiping leftover parmi sauce from around his mouth onto his sleeve.

“She’s upset because I sat on her new cushions with no pants on and let a few rip. Big deal.”

“She’ll come round. She always does. Just need to remember when her birthday is and be sure to order some flowers or something.”
